This policy explains how PontelasPilas uses cookies and local browser storage technologies, in accordance with Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy) and the GDPR.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store in your browser. In addition to cookies proper, we also use localStorage (local browser storage) to save preferences and session information.

3. What we do NOT do
- We do not use advertising or behavioral tracking cookies.
- We do not share cookie data with ad networks.
- We do not install third-party analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.).
4. Strictly necessary cookies
plp_token and plp_lang are essential for the basic operation of the service. Without them it is not possible to maintain the session or user preferences. For this reason, they do not require explicit consent under the ePrivacy Directive.
5. Stripe and Google cookies
These third-party cookies are only activated when the user starts a payment (Stripe) or chooses to authenticate with Google. By using these features, you accept the privacy policies of these providers:

You can delete localStorage entries at any time from your browser's developer tools (F12 → Application → Local Storage). You can also configure your browser to block third-party cookies:
Note that blocking plp_token will prevent you from staying logged in to the app.
7. Changes to this policy
If we introduce new tracking technologies, we will announce it at least 7 days in advance by email and update this page.
